I haven't been in my room to do any art
but I keep coming in because my sweet husband
let me go to Ikea and get bookcases for the art room
and what a difference it made.
This is my room BEFORE Ikea
AND THIS IS MY ROOM NOW
Isn't it amazing the difference you can make with just $300.
(Get off the floor Tracey Fletcher King, I hope it wasn't too much of a shock for you.
I'm still a grot on the inside).
I can even get my easels out and use my credenza to put my paint palletes on.
Can't wait until the school holidays are over so I can get in and play.
Now you've seen mine hop on over the Julias Stamping Ground and see the other desks
around the world this fine wednesday.
Thank goodness I was sitting down!!!! This looks amazing and you will love working in it soooo much... That is such a lovely room with its aspect and now it will be such a joy... can't wait to pop down and see it in person... must have been an ikea weekend because Sinus headed out and bought the same bookcases with doors and has built a wall of storage for P's room... she is loving it and it looks great, but yours is blowing me away... love love love how your room looks Von and thanks for the shock and awe start to a Wednesday... you are going to produce some amazing work in there... only a few sleeps till we have to house to ourselves again... roll on term 2 I say...xx

What I want to know is what happened to the hundreds of books I saw in those first two photos. Although I LOVE the look of your new room, the cost is a bit steep for me. So glad you like it, because I think it is fabulous!

ReplyDeleteWow! What a great transformation! I'll bet you'll love it so much better now. So much space and things nicely organized. I know I could use some IKEA shelves myself, problem is I would have to buy another house to put them in it. I'm jealous of the neatness/organization!
